Trigger finger, which is one of the most common reasons of pain and malfunction of the hands, emerges with pain, triggering or limited extension during the movements of flexor tendons and may effect all fingers. Aim of this study is to present a rare case of simultaneously emerging multiple trigger fingers in both hands.

A 58 year old female patient has attended to our clinic with pain and triggering in her third, fourth and fifth fingers of left hand and fourth and fifth fingers of her right hand. She has been diagnosed as multiple trigger fingers. Patient is operated under local anesthesia from her left hand. In the postoperative third month control of patient, we observed that all complaints of the patient were resolved. Operation was planned for the right hand.

It is known that success ratio of steroid injection is low in patients who have multiple trigger fingers, long lasting symptoms and history of diabetes mellitus. Surgical therapy is the treatment of choice in patients with trigger finger because of the short operation time under local anesthesia, low recurrence and complication rates of the surgery.

Surgical therapy is superior to local steroid injections in patients with multiple trigger fingers who have concomitant systemic diseases and ongoing symptoms more than six months because of high success and low recurrence rates in single session.
