ABSTRACT

Enteric fever is one of the major clinical forms associated by Salmonella. Salmonella was detected unusually in the blood and bone marrow cultures of 19 year-old patient who was admitted to our hospital with high fever, abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting. However, antibody titer against Salmonella has not been detected in the serological tests. We present this case which was treated with antibioteraphy, namely ciprofloxacin and cefoperazone.
