ABSTRACT
Choanal atresia is a rare cause of developmental obstruction of the posterior nasal opening. The clinical presentation varies from immediate postnatal cyanosis and respiratory distress to nasal obstruction. Unilateral choanal atresia seen after adulthood may be nonspesific five cases (16-32 years old, 1 male and 4 female) of unilateral choanal atresia were treated by transnasal endoscopic surgery and followed-up at our ENT Department presented and endoscopic transnasal surgery and therapeutic results discussed comparing with relevant literatures.
