ABSTRACT

Proliferating trichilemmal cyst (PTC) is a rare skin lesion originates from hair follicles and it is usually seen in older women as a solitary nodule on the scalp. Although the lesions are often benign, patients with disease in different localizations and with local relapse or distant metastasis have been reported in the literature. In this case report, we reported a patient, who was diagnosed with PTC, without any local relapse and distant metastasis in 10 years followup duration after adjuvant radiotherapy because of positive surgical margin in postoperative settling.
