ABSTRACT
Bladder cancer is the most common malignancy involving urinary system. Urothelial carcinoma is the predominant histologic type. Generally urothelial carcinoma is seen sporadically. But it can be seen together with other system malignancies. Herein we report a case that has high grade bladder carcinoma with endometrial cancer.
We report the case of a 62-years old female who underwent radical cystectomy, total abdominal hysterectomy and bilateral ooferectomy operation. Histopathologic examination revealed a high grade invasive urothelial carcinoma of bladder which was detected at cervix outer side, myometrium, rightovary, right tuba uterina and right pelvic sidewall. Aside from this, endometrium, grade 1 endometrioid type adenocarcinoma that invased less than inner half of myometrium was detected.
Endometrial carcinoma can be simultaneously with bladder carcinoma. Clinicians must be aware of second primary tumors and metastasis in patients with bladder carcinomas.
