ABSTRACT
Central venous port catheterization is a minimally invasive procedure which can be used safely for long-term therapy in the treatment of cancer patients. But right after catheterization, the position of the catheter and possible complications should be verified by physical examination and posteroanterior chest radiograms. Further diagnostic tests are required in suspicious cases. We present here a case of a patient with a central venous catheter that migrated into the ınternal jugular vein 1 month after a subclavian vein catheterization.
