Systemic local anesthetic (LA) toxicity is the most fatal complication of peripheral nerve block techniques. LA was accidentally applied to intravenous or exceeding maximum dose of LA is the most frequent causes of systemic LA toxicity. In recent years, use of intravenous lipid emulsions in cases that have not responded to standard resuscitation applications have been reported in systemic LA toxicity. Our aim is to report systemic LA toxicity which was treated with intravenous lipid emulsion infusion.
