Thyroglossal Duct Cyst With an Intralaryngeal Extension

Thyroglossal duct cyst occurs due to lack of complete or incomplete closure of thyroglossal ductus after migration of thyroid gland from tounge base to neck. Althouh thyroglossal cyst is common intralaryngeal extension is very rare. It is more common in adults and ıt can mimic laryngeal carcinoma in elder patients.
