Although better and more advanced diagnosis and treatment possibilities introduced during recent years, zoonotic infections are still recurrent epidemic due to reasons such as increase of international travels and changes of climate. According to their etiology, they can be classified as viral, bacterial, fungal and parasitic. It is important to be aware of zoonotic infections because of their worldwide mortality and morbidity effect. In this article, the steps of laboratory diagnosis were reviewed.
