Drug addiction, which is becoming increasingly common all over the world and our country is a matter of public health. In our country, bonsai that is a synthetic cannabinoid and causes drug addiction is considered as an illegal narcotic class since 2011. Today, bonsai is an actual issue for Turkey. Furthermore, many drugs and substances such as cocaine, amphetamine, heroin and volatiles are being used. Using addictive substances and drugs may cause many cardiovascular disease such as blood pressure changes, supra ventricular and ventricular arrhythmias, pulmonary hypertension, bacterial endocarditis, ischemic heart disease, dilated cardiomyopathy, heart failure including myocardial infarction and sudden cardiac death.
