Addiction is a primary, chronic, neurobiological disease, with genetic, psychosocial, and enviromental factors influencing its development and manifestations. Although all users will not have alcohol substance use disorder, early diagnosis and interventions are crucial to prevent users from development of addictions. Substance dependence having knowledge about the psychosocial treatments and using them as complementary to psychopharmacological treatments carries great importance.
