Rupture of the Patellar Tendon and the Contralateral Quadriceps Tendon Associated with Chronic Renal Disease: A Case Report

Quadriceps tendon rupture with contralateral patellar tendon ruptures are rarely seen. It occurs commonly together with an underlying systemic disease like chronic renal disease, diabetes, romatoid artrhritis. Within scope of this case, we present surgical intervention of the patient with chronic renal disease and seconder hyperparathyroidism with quadriceps tendon rupture and contralateral patellar tendon rupture caused by minor trauma.
