Primary Carcinoma of the Fallopian Tube: A Case Report

Primary fallopian tube carcinoma is an uncommon tumor accounting for approximately 0.14%-1.8% of female genital malignancies. A 52 year-old, gravida 4, parity 4, abortus 3 woman having primary fallopian tube carcinoma is presented. Her complaint was vaginal hemoragy, and a pelvic mass was found by gynecological examination. Abdominal total hysterectomy, bilateral salpingo-oopherectomy were performed. Histopathological examination revealed a Stage Ia primary tuba uterina adenocarcinoma of the left fallopian tube.
