Imaging in the Evaluation of Postbariatric Surgical Anatomy and Complications

Bariatric surgery is increasingly performed to control morbid obesity secondary to failed medical approaches. For that reason, imaging plays an important role in postoperative evaluation and management. Practical knowledge of postsurgical anatomy allows accurate interpretation of imaging findings related to normal postsurgical anatomy and common postsurgical complications.
