Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy in a Patient with Situs Inversus Totalis: Case Report

Situs inversus is a rare autosomal recessive disorder in which comes about second week of embriyological life. The known human case was reported by Fabicius in 1600. Prof.Med Erich Muhe first described laparoscopic cholecystectomy in 1985. Since then, it has become the gold standart technique for gall bladder diseases. Here we report a case of situs inversus totalis succesfully treated with laparoscopic choleystectomy.
