Substance abuse comprises the harmful or hazardous use of psychoactive substances which has, many negative effects on individual and society. The use of these substances lead to dependence syndrome. There are many cutaneous signs of substance abuse. Dermatologists need to recognize these signs to properly diagnose and treat these patients. The objective of this paper is to draw particular attention to typical skin lesions and diseases which may be associated with subtance abuse.
