Rotator cuff repair is a common procedure performed via arthroscopic, mini-open and open techniques. While this surgery is considered to be of low morbidity, several potential complications can arise either intraoperatively or during the postoperative time period. When patients are selected carefully and complications treated appropriately, successful outcomes can be obtained. In this review the complications with rotator cuff surgery have been discussed.
