Anesthetic Management in a Pregnant Woman with Takayasu Arteritis

Takayasu’s arteritis is a rare, idiopathic and chronic inflammatory disease. We report a successful anesthetic management of caesarean section of a 29-year-old pregnant woman diagnosed as secondary hypertension associated with TA. Pregnant woman was scheduled for emergency caesarean section when fetal distress and uncontrolled hypertension developed. In this case, we report the successful anesthesia management in a high-risk pregnanct woman with TA.
