In our country drug addiction is increasing gradually. As a result of this, anesthetists are facing with the drug addicted patients much more than before. Drug addicted patients undergo surgery either for reasons as trauma or for other pathologies. Anaesthetists should be knowledgeable enough about the drugs taken, their side effects, the interaction between these substances and anaesthtetic agents and plan the chosen anaeshetic technique.
