Alcohol and drug use cause many legal problem as well as various economic problems. Turkish government had signed a lot of international agreements and also a lot of law was enacted in order to protect the population. Further problems which directly related to the doctors and health workers are alcoholic and drug addicted patient treatment and also legal issues. Part of the legal problems contains judicial reports which are judged according to Turkish Criminal Law, The Civil Law, and Highway Traffic Law and the other part contains treatments which are madde according to Supervised Release Law. According to the law, the use of the substances such as alcohol, tobacco, and caffeine which come to mind while mentioned about the drug addiction is not criminal, The use and possession of the substances such as heroin, cocaine and marijuana is criminal. In this article, treatment, court decisions, judicial reports are discussed in the light of related laws.
