Glomus tumors are rare benign vascular tumors first described by Wood in 1812. Despite their typical acral distribution, glomus cells have also been described in bone, stomach, colon, trachea, mediastinum, liver, and other sites, and glomus tumors can potentially develop at those sites. We report a rare case of a glomus tumor at an unusual site,with severe pain, cold sensitivity,and point tenderness. To the best of our knowledge, this glomus tumor that occurred on the gövde is very rare.
Glomus tumour should be considered in the differential diagnosis of any painful, tumoral lesions atypical localisation. Total surgical excision should be performed to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment. An early and accurate diagnosis will prevent unnecessary procedures. Histopathological assessment should be performed to accurate diagnosis.
