In developed societies leading cause is the desire to have a baby from a new wife. Tubal reanastomosis should be performed at experienced centers by high volume surgeons. Due to the reduced success rates in the patients with advanced age, this patient group should be well informed prior to the operation. The experience of the surgeon is important regarding the pregnancy rates after tubal reanastamosis.
