Evaluation of Vertigo in Pediatric Age Group

Although vertigo is a rare symptom in pediatric age group, it can have constant effects on children. Children with vertigo may have motor and balance problem besides learning difficulties. In order to prevent sequela and improve patients’ situation children should be evaluated by multidisciplinary approach and treatment should begin as soon as possible. At this point, there are two main handicaps which are cooperation problem of the child and vast spectrum of differential diagnosis. This review aimed to browse literature and summarize recent developments in this field.
