Intracranial lipomas are benign tumors that constitute 0.1-1.5% of all intracranial tumors. Of all cerebellopontine angle (CPA) tumors only 0.14% are lipomas. They are twice as common in men and 3% of them are bilateral. Since CPA lipomas are localized especially near the 5th, 7th and 8th cranial nerves and show infiltrative patterns, they are more symptomatic that other intracranial lipomas. The most common symptoms are vertigo, tinnitus, hearing loss, loss of facial sensation, trigeminal neuralgia, hemifacial spasm and facial motor disorder. In this case presentatiton we are presenting a patient with hearing loss as the only complaint, ENT and the other systems’ examinations being natural, who was diagnosed with CPA lipoma and was diagnosed and treated according to the literature.
