A Rare Breast Tumor: Pleomorphic Liposarcoma

Sarcomas of breast tissue are rare tumors that comprise less than 1% of all of the breast tumors. Liposarcomas constitute 3% of these tumors. In the clinical examination of 54 years old woman who came with palpable mass in right breast, a lesion of 3.5 cm diameter with irregular borders was determined. Lesion is excised surgically. In the pathologic examination, this case is diagnosed as pleomorphic liposarcoma. Pleomorphic liposarcoma of breast is a rare tumor which must be distinguished from other pleomorphic tumors.
